9/11 Anniversary

In honor of this tragic day, I will refrain from Panhandling all day.

Of course this will be rough for me as I'm pretty broke.

The Panhandler and The Hitchhiker

I became friends with Alexander online. He had a great site called FishLip.blogspot.com or something like that, detailing his adventures hitchhiking all over the dang place. He does a bit of panhandling as he goes as well.

I loved his blog and when he told me he was coming to Sac I was thrilled to have a chance to meet him. It was a historic occasion. We knocked over a few banks, freed the Sacto 7 and it all ended with a ticker tape parade. Or, I was feeling lousy with stomach problems and didn't want to leave my house so he sat patiently and watched as John and I edited footage from the documentary. But we did panhandle long enough to get a few photos snapped (not long enough to make any money) and I interviewed him and his buddy Ben for the Documentary.

And speaking of the doc, we finished a major phase of editing. We're now DONE going through all the footage and seperating the usable from the unusable. With the tremendous amount of footage we shot this took some time. Now we can put the damn film together, record the voice overs, grab and clean up shots we need and I think it's realistic that we'll meet our goal of having a finished film in time to shop it around starting in Spring of 2007.

WOO HOO. Of course, this hasn't taken a lot of time and energy and so I'm hungry and broke. Could you maybe help out with a couple bucks? God Bless.
